How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Passt das Violett zu salbeigrünen Wänden?
Nein, und genau das ist die Kombination, die funktioniert. Der Hintergrund des Bildes ist selbst salbeigrün, deshalb wirken die Blumen an einer salbeigrünen Wand fast schwebend und das Violett wärmer. Wähle einen gedämpften Grünton statt ein helles Mint und vermeide lila Textilien in der Nähe. Ein blau gestreiftes Kissen oder eine Vase reicht als Echo.

Welche Größe passt an eine kleine Küchenwand?
An einer schmalen Wand am Ende einer Küchenzeile ist 50 cm Quadrat das ideale Maß. Unter 40 cm verlieren die Blütenköpfe aus der Entfernung ihre Form und es wirkt schnell wie eine Karte. Über 60 cm brauchst du eine Wand von mindestens 90 cm Breite, damit das Quadrat Luft hat. Lass 30 cm Abstand zu jeder Schrankkante.

Muss das Blau der Vase im Raum aufgegriffen werden?
Es muss nicht exakt passen, aber ein Echo hilft. Die kobaltblauen Streifen sind der schärfste Farbton im Bild, also verbindet eine blau-weiße Kanne, ein Emaillekessel oder ein gestreiftes Geschirrtuch das Poster mit dem Raum. Zwei oder drei blaue Objekte genügen. Mehr als das konkurriert mit der Vase, statt sie zu rahmen.
