How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Kollidieren Rosa und Lavendel mit einem grauen Schlafzimmer?

Nein, dafür ist es gemacht. Das Lavendel im Himmel liegt nah an einer blau-grauen Wand und wirkt wie ein Teil davon, während Rosa und Pfirsich die Wärme bringen, die grauen Räumen oft fehlt. Zu vermeiden sind nur starke Grün- oder gelbstichige Grautöne, die mit dem Rosa kollidieren. Warmweiße Wände passen genauso gut.

Wie breit sollte es über einem Kingsize-Bett sein?

Rechne mit zwei Dritteln bis zur vollen Breite der Matratze, also bei einem King etwa 120 bis 150 cm. In dieser Größe wirken die drei Vögel in passender Fluggröße und der Himmel füllt die Wand hinter den Kissen. Lass etwa 20 cm zwischen Kopfteil und Unterkante, damit das Bild zum Bett gehört statt darüber zu schweben.

Ist es zu zurückhaltend, um eine Wohnzimmerwand allein zu tragen?

Nicht in der richtigen Größe. Über einem Sofa sollte es mindestens zwei Drittel der Sofabreite einnehmen, dann gibt die Bewegung der Vögel der Wand einen klaren Fokus, ohne laut zu werden. Halte Sofa und Kissen schlicht, in Hafer oder cremeweißem Leinen, dann wirken die hellen Farben ruhig statt blass. Nur neben stark gemusterten Stoffen kommt es an seine Grenzen.
