How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Wird das an einer großen leeren Wand zu schlicht wirken?

An einer breiten Wand kann eine mittlere Größe verloren wirken. Zwei Optionen funktionieren: größer wählen, damit die Blüte aus der Entfernung lesbar ist, oder sie eng zusammen mit ein bis zwei anderen ruhigen Tuschebildern hängen. Wenn du sie solo lässt, häng sie leicht versetzt mit einem Möbelstück darunter, damit das Bild etwas zum Anlehnen hat.

Wird der Hintergrund als Creme oder als Weiß wahrgenommen?

Er wirkt als warmer Cremeton, näher an Hafer als an strahlendem Weiß. Das heißt, er sitzt gut auf Off-White-, Stein- und Putzwänden und wärmt neben hellem Holz. An einem sehr kühlen, strahlenden Weiß ist der Unterschied sichtbar, also rechne mit etwas Kontrast statt mit nahtlosem Ton-in-Ton.

Ist der rote Punkt in der Ecke Teil des Kunstwerks?

Ja. Der kleine rote Stempel unten links ist ein Siegelzeichen, ein traditioneller Teil der Tuschemalerei. Er ist der einzige Farbakzent im Bild und bietet dem Auge einen Bezugspunkt. Manche Leute nehmen ihn mit einem kleinen roten oder terrakottafarbenen Objekt in der Nähe wieder auf.
