How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Streiken die orangen Stämme mit einem rostfarbenen oder terrakottafarbenen Sofa?

Ist das Sofa rostfarben, häng das Bild an eine andere Wand und lass den senffarbenen Himmel die Verbindung herstellen.

Wie groß muss es sein, damit der Wanderer aus der Ferne lesbar ist?

Bei 40 cm Quadrat ist die Figur nur ein Punkt und das Bild wird zu zwei Bäumen. Bei 60 cm fällt er dir schon aus einem Türrahmen auf, und ab 80 cm oder mehr ist genau der Größenunterschied zwischen ihm und den Kronen der eigentliche Effekt. Für eine Sofawand nimm groß. Für einen Schreibtisch, an dem du nah sitzt, reichen 50 bis 60 cm, weil du nur einen Meter entfernt bist.

Passt der gelbe Himmel in einen dunklen grünen Raum?

Ja, und das ist die beste Kombination. Dunkelgrüne Wände schlucken die meisten warmen Farben, aber das Senfgelb hier ist stark genug, um zu bestehen, und das fast schwarze Laub geht optisch in der Wandfarbe auf, sodass der Himmel wie ein Loch in der Wand wirkt. Lass den Rest der Wand frei und nutze warme Leuchtmittel, denn kühles weißes Licht lässt das Gelb stumpf wirken.
