Ab September wird die Küche wieder zur Bühne, der Tisch wird sorgfältig gedeckt und etwas Kaltes, Salziges fühlt sich richtig an. An der Wand neben dem Esstisch erinnert dieses Leinwandbild an die Atmosphäre eines guten Bistros kurz vor dem Eintreffen der ersten Gäste. Die Tinte ist tiefschwarz und setzt auf weißer Metro-Fliese oder einer Marmor-Arbeitsplatte klare Akzente. Der warme Cremegrund nimmt der Strenge die Härte und wirkt besonders stimmungsvoll im Abendlicht. Im Dezember spielt es seine Stärken voll aus – der Tisch gedeckt, Zitronen bereit, draußen wird es schon um vier dunkel. Im Sommer bleibt es an Ort und Stelle – und niemand stört sich daran. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Wirkt Schwarz-Weiß-Kunst in meiner Küche kalt?

Bei diesem hier nicht. Der Grundton ist Creme statt Reinweiß, daher wirkt es unter warmen Lampen eher wie altes Papier als wie ein Kopierausdruck. Das Schwarz ist dicht und matt und passt gut zu weißen Fliesen, Marmor oder einem lackierten Holztisch. Halte die Wandfarbe hell oder tiefgrün, dann wärmt die Zeichnung die Ecke, statt sie kühl wirken zu lassen.

Welche Größe sollte ich neben einem Esstisch aufhängen?

Für einen Tisch mit vier bis sechs Plätzen ist mittelgroß ideal, etwa 50 bis 70 cm im Quadrat, so aufgehängt, dass die Mitte etwas über der Kopfhöhe der Sitzenden liegt. An einer freien Esszimmerwand ohne weitere Elemente wirkt groß besser, und der Teller ist schon von der Tür aus gut zu erkennen. Unter 40 cm geht die Detailarbeit an den Schalen aus der Entfernung verloren.

Passt es auch irgendwo anders als in die Küche?

Ein Esszimmer ist der natürliche zweite Ort, und auch eine kleine Restaurant- oder Caféwand passt gut dazu. Ebenso ein Home-Bar-Bereich oder ein Hauswirtschaftsraum mit offenen Regalen. Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer sind schwieriger, weil Schalentiere auf einem Teller am besten dort wirken, wo gegessen wird. Wenn du es im Wohnzimmer liebst, häng es nah an den Servierwagen.
