How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Wirkt das tiefe Blau in einem kleinen Schlafzimmer zu stark?
Nicht, wenn der Rest des Raums hell bleibt. Der cremefarbene Grund nimmt mehr als die Hälfte des Bildes ein, sodass die Wand vom Türrahmen aus gesehen weiterhin hell wirkt, mit einem Block Blau darauf. Halte die Bettwäsche weiß oder in Oat, hänge es in mittlerer statt großer Größe auf und vermeide ein zweites Blau in der Nähe. In einem nach Norden ausgerichteten Raum wirkt es etwas dunkler, was viele abends sogar lieber mögen.

Welche Wandfarbe passt am besten dahinter?
Off-White oder ein sehr helles Salbei liefern das beste Ergebnis. Beide lassen den cremefarbenen Grund nah an der Wandfarbe liegen, sodass Blau und Grün die Hauptarbeit machen. Warme Weißtöne gehen auch. Vermeide mittlere Grautöne, die das Blau stumpfer wirken lassen, und alles in Terrakotta oder Rost, das damit konkurriert. Wenn du eine dunklere Wand willst, bringt ein tiefes Grün die Blätter nach vorne und sieht trotzdem gut aus.

Passt es besser an eine Galeriewand oder allein?
Beides. Allein braucht es nichts anderes an der Wand und füllt den Raum über Bett oder Konsole ganz selbstverständlich. In einer Gruppe ist es die stärkste Farbe, also setze es in die Mitte, in die größte Größe, und umgib es mit helleren Botanicals, Line-Art oder sanften blauen Abstraktionen. Drei oder vier Teile reichen aus. Mehr und das Blau beginnt um Aufmerksamkeit zu kämpfen.
