Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Wirkt die schwarze Seite in einem kleinen Flur zu schwer?

Weniger, als du denkst. Rund drei Viertel des Bildes sind Cremeweiß, daher wirkt es an einer warmweißen Wand größtenteils wie Wandfläche. Das Schwarz sitzt an einer Kante und verhält sich eher wie ein hoher dunkler Türrahmen als wie ein dunkles Bild. Häng es mit der schwarzen Seite nah an die Treppe oder den Durchgang, dann nimmt das Auge es als Teil der Architektur wahr.

Wie groß sollte ich für einen Treppenabsatz gehen?

Lieber hoch als vorsichtig. Auf einem Absatz ist der Betrachter meist zwei oder drei Meter entfernt und schaut nach oben, deshalb verliert alles unter etwa 80 cm Höhe die Laternenmast-Details und schrumpft zu einem dunklen Streifen. Ein Motiv mit 100 cm oder mehr Höhe füllt die Wand richtig aus, und die schmale Breite lässt trotzdem Platz für das Geländer und die Wendung der Treppe.

Ist das Rosa wirklich sichtbar, oder wirkt es beige?

Aus dem Raum heraus wirkt es wie ein warmer Papierfarbton nahe Beige. Aus der Nähe, bei gutem Tageslicht, ist das Blush im Turm und im Streifen an der linken Kante klar zu sehen. Wenn du willst, dass das Rosa auffällt, leg ein blushfarbenes Leinenkissen oder eine hellrosa Decke dazu, dann findet das Auge es. An einer kühlen grauen Wand wirkt es wärmer und deutlich rosiger.
