How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Wirkt das Rosa in einem erwachsenen Wohnzimmer nicht zu süß?
Nicht mit der richtigen Wand dahinter. Die tief weinroten Blüten und der dunkle grüne Grund ziehen das Rosa eher ins Pudrige als ins Zuckerige, sodass es an einer grünen, pflaumenfarbenen oder warmgrauen Wand wie ein richtiges Bild wirkt. An einer weißen Wand dominiert das helle Satin und es wirkt weicher. Ein Kissen in Weinrot oder Dunkelgrün in der Nähe hält die Balance.

Wie groß sollte ich über einer Kommode oder einem Bett wählen?
Orientiere dich an etwa zwei Dritteln der Breite des Möbelstücks darunter. Über einer 120-cm-Kommode sind das rund 80 cm im Quadrat, wodurch die Blüten fast lebensgroß wirken. Über einem Doppelbett kannst du 100 cm wählen oder ein einzelnes großes Bild leicht außermittig hängen. Unter 60 cm schrumpfen die Blumen und das Etikett des Glases ist aus der Ferne nicht mehr lesbar.

Passt es in die Küche oder ins Esszimmer, oder ist es nur fürs Schlafzimmer?
Es passt in beides. Das Einmachglas ist der Hinweis. Im Esszimmer mit einem lackierten Sideboard und etwas Glas auf dem Tisch wirkt es wie das Ende eines Marktbesuchs. In der Küche solltest du es gut vom Herd fernhalten und in weiches Seitenlicht setzen. Die Schlafzimmer-Version lebt vom Lampenlicht am Abend, die Esszimmer-Version vom späten Vormittag.
