Graues Leinen wirkt daneben weicher und einladender; das Mauve im Himmel nimmt den Grauton auf, sodass das Arrangement bewusst geplant wirkt. Ideal in etwa 1 × 1 m, mit der Unterkante eine Handbreit über den Rückenpolstern. Die Wand selbst sollte off‑white bleiben: Auf dunklem Grund verschwindet das olivfarbene Marschland am unteren Bildrand und dem Motiv fehlt die Basis. Ein messingfarbener Lampenfuß genügt – keine gemusterten Decken. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Wirkt das Pink in einem erwachsenen Wohnzimmer zu süß?

Nicht bei diesem hier. Das Pink steht neben Mauve, Grau und einem breiten Band aus olivem und braunem Marschland, sodass es eher als Abendlicht als als Farbwahl wirkt. Auf grauem Leinen oder einer warmen off-white Wand kommt es warm statt mädchenhaft rüber. Das Risiko entsteht erst, wenn du noch mehr Pink dazugibst, also halte Kissen und Decken bei Oat, Grau oder Mauve.

Welche Größe sollte ich über einem Sofa wählen?

Orientier dich an ungefähr zwei Dritteln der Sofabreite. Bei einem Standard-Dreisitzer sind das 80 bis 100 cm im Quadrat. Die dicken Farbspuren in den Wolken machen das Bild aus, und die sieht man erst in dieser Größe richtig. Unter 60 cm wird aus dem Himmel eher ein Muster und der Bach verliert seinen Zug zum Horizont. Häng die Unterkante eine Handbreit über die Rückenkissen.

Funktioniert es in einem nach Norden ausgerichteten Raum?

Ja, und besser als viele Landschaften. Kühles Nordlicht neigt dazu, warme Farben abzustumpfen, aber das Pink und Buttergelb im Himmel sind stark genug, um zu wirken, und das helle Blau liegt ohnehin im kühlen Bereich, sodass es natürlich aussieht. Häng es an die Wand gegenüber dem Fenster statt daneben, dann bekommt der ganze Raum etwas von der Sonnenuntergangswärme.
