How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Ist das Gold wirklich metallisch oder nur gedruckt?

Das Gold ist Teil des Kunstwerks selbst und als Farbe statt als Folienprägung reproduziert. Es wirkt angenehm warm und vielschichtig und verändert sich je nach Licht ein wenig, die Oberfläche bleibt aber glatt. Warmes Lampenlicht hebt die Goldflächen hervor; kühles Deckenlicht nimmt ihnen die Tiefe, also stell am besten eine Lampe in die Nähe.

Funktioniert das auch auf weißen Wänden statt auf farbigen?

Ja, aber es wirkt anders. Auf einer weißen Wand erscheinen Gold- und Putzfarben heller und grafischer, und das Kunstwerk trägt sich ganz allein. Auf einer tieferen Beige-, Oliv- oder Blaugrau-Wand verschmilzt die Struktur stärker mit dem Raum und wirkt älter und wärmer. Beides ist gut — du entscheidest den Effekt.

Wie viel Wandfläche braucht es darum herum?

Lass links und rechts jeweils mindestens 30 cm freien Abstand. Es ist ein einzelnes, starkes Motiv im quadratischen Format, deshalb wirkt es am besten mit Luft und ohne Konkurrenz auf derselben Augenhöhe. Über Sofa oder Sideboard mittig platzieren und Regale, Spiegel sowie andere Kunst von dieser Wand fernhalten.
