How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bleibt das Rosa in einem nach Norden ausgerichteten Flur wirklich rosa?

Meistens ja. Das Rosa hier ist ein staubiger Putzton statt ein zuckriger Ton, deshalb dämpft kühles Licht es etwas, macht es aber nicht grau. Die rot-orange Spitze und die Streifen behalten in jedem Licht ihre Wirkung und ziehen den Blick von der Tür aus an. Wenn der Flur sehr dunkel ist, bringt eine warmweiße Lampe über dem Bild das Rosa zurück, ohne es orange wirken zu lassen.

Wie hoch muss die Wand sein, damit das auf einem Treppenabsatz funktioniert?

Am besten ist eine freie Wandfläche, die mindestens doppelt so hoch wie breit ist, mit der Bildmitte etwa 150 cm über dem Boden. Auf einem halben Treppenabsatz sitzt die Turmspitze dann meist knapp unter der Deckenlinie. Lass mindestens 30 cm freie Wand auf jeder Seite, damit die schmale Form bewusst als hohes Statement wirkt und nicht gequetscht.

Stört sich das Rot an einem Rost- oder Terrakotta-Schema?

Eher nicht. Das Rot-Orange an Spitze und Markise tendiert warm, sodass ein Rostsessel oder Terrakottatöpfe eher als Nachbarn denn als Rivalen wirken. Halte Rost auf ein oder zwei Teile beschränkt und lass Rosa und Dunkelgrau die Balance übernehmen. Ziegelrote Wände sind das Einzige, was du vermeiden solltest, weil sie die Streifen verschlucken und den Turm flach wirken lassen.
