How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Halten die Farben in einem Flur ohne Tageslicht gut?

Ja, und zwar besser als bei den meisten. Marineblau und Petrol sind dunkel genug, um ihre Tiefe unter einer einzelnen warmen Leuchte zu behalten, und die Koralle liegt weit genug davon entfernt, um sichtbar zu bleiben. Nimm lieber ein warmes Leuchtmittel als ein kaltweißes. Kaltes Licht zieht das Petrol ins Graue und flacht den Senf ab, und genau das würde dem Stück schaden.

Wie groß sollte ich für einen Treppenabsatz wählen?

Nimm es hoch genug, damit das Stück auf dem Absatz ungefähr von Hüfthöhe bis über deinen Kopf reicht. Bei den meisten Treppenabsätzen heißt das die große Stufe oder größer. Das Muster besteht aus kleinen Punkten und Streifen, daher wirkt es in zu kleiner Größe vom Fuß der Treppe aus nur wie Struktur und die Hügel gehen unter. Die Höhe macht es aus.

Wirkt das Petrol eher blau oder grün an der Wand?

Es verändert sich mit der Wandfarbe. Auf warm gebrochenem Weiß geht es mehr ins Grüne und der Raum wirkt erdiger. Auf einer tiefen Marineblau- oder Petrolwand wirkt es blauer und die Koralle tritt stärker hervor. Neben Grau wird es stumpf, also lieber keine hellgraue Farbe in der Nähe. Wenn du auf Nummer sicher gehen willst, hält eine warme Cremewand beide Wirkungen im Spiel und lässt den Senf den ganzen Streifen wärmen.
