How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Passt das Rot zu meiner Weihnachtsdeko oder wirkt es störend?
Das passt, wenn die Deko ebenfalls rot und in der Nähe ist. Der Mantel ist ein warmes Tomatenrot und möchte das einzige Rot an dieser Wand sein. Verlege Kugeln und Girlanden auf die andere Seite des Raums oder setze auf Weiß, Grün und Messing. Vor off-white Farbe und einer hellen Holzfläche wirkt das Rot ruhig und wie eine bewusste Wahl statt wie noch mehr Festtagslärm.

Welche Größe passt über ein Sideboard?
Etwa die halbe bis zwei Drittel der Breite des Sideboards ist ideal. Bei einem 120-cm-Sideboard heißt das ein Quadrat von etwa 60 bis 70 cm, so aufgehängt, dass die Unterkante eine Handbreit über der Oberkante sitzt. Unter 50 cm wirkt die Figur eher wie Deko. Größer als das Sideboard, und der weiche Roségrund übernimmt die Wand.

Kann ich es nach Weihnachten hängen lassen?
Viele tun das. Der Roséhintergrund und die schwarze Linie wirken zuerst wie eine skandinavische Illustration und erst dann wie ein Weihnachtsmann, sodass es nach dem Baum nicht mehr laut nach Dezember ruft. Im Januar wird es zu einem Witz über Müdigkeit, mit dem die meisten gut leben können. Wenn du wechseln willst, passt an denselben Platz für den Rest des Jahres auch eine schlichte Linienzeichnung.
