How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Passt das Terrakotta zu meinen grauen Wänden oder beißt es sich?

Warme Grautöne mit braunem oder rosigem Unterton funktionieren gut, und die Tonfarben heben sie sogar. Kühle, schiefer- oder bläulich wirkende Grautöne sind schwieriger, weil das Orange dann gegen sie arbeitet statt mit ihnen. Wenn dein Flur kühlgrau ist, ist ein warmer Weißton an der Wand hinter dem Bild eine günstige Lösung und lässt die ganze Wandfläche wärmer wirken.

Welche Größe sollte ich für eine Treppenwand wählen?

Wähle größer, als dein Gefühl dir sagt. Auf einem Podest sieht man das Bild von unten und aus ein paar Metern Entfernung, daher wirkt ein Poster unter 80 cm Höhe schnell wie ein Streifen. Ab etwa 100 cm Höhe werden die cremefarbenen Tupfen als Markierungen lesbar statt als Struktur, und das hohe Format füllt die schwierige vertikale Lücke zwischen Handlaufhöhe und Decke, ohne Breite zu brauchen.

Lässt die dunkle Basis es in einem kleinen Raum schwer wirken?

Das Gewicht sitzt unten, und genau dort kann ein Raum es tragen. Hänge es so auf, dass der Pflaumenteil etwas unter Augenhöhe liegt und die hellere Pfirsich- und Creme-Oberhälfte den Blick nach oben zieht, damit eine niedrige Decke höher wirkt. In einem kleinen Schlafzimmer kombinierst du es am besten mit heller Bettwäsche und einem hellen Boden, damit das Dunkle eher Fundament als Block bleibt.
