How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Halten die Farben auch in einem Flur ohne Fenster gut?

Ja, und besser als die meisten. Das Creme oben fängt jedes Licht ein, das dort ankommt, und die Terrakottabasis wirkt unter einer normalen warmweißen Lampe angenehm warm. Dunkelgrün wird bei wenig Licht dunkler, was dem ganzen Bild eher mehr Tiefe gibt. Vermeide kaltweiße LEDs, sie lassen das Korallenrosa blass wirken. Eine warme Deckenleuchte oder eine Wandleuchte seitlich reicht völlig.

Wie breit muss die Wand sein?

Eine Wand ab 50 cm Breite trägt es in der großen Größe problemlos, und auch ab 40 cm funktioniert es noch, wenn dort sonst nichts hängt. Das Format ist doppelt so hoch wie breit, daher zählt die Höhe mehr als die Breite. Plane oben und unten jeweils mindestens 30 cm freie Wandfläche ein, damit die Striche beim Annähern genug Raum haben, sich zu verbinden.

Wirkt es von weitem als Bild oder eher nur als Struktur?

Aus zwei bis drei Metern verschmelzen die Kleckse zu drei Farbbändern, einem Cremeband oben, einem grünen in der Mitte und einer warmen Terrakotta-Basis, sodass es als eine einzige hohe Form statt als Muster wirkt. Aus der Nähe übernehmen die einzelnen Striche und es geht ganz um Farbe. Ein Treppenpodest gibt dir beide Distanzen in einem Aufstieg, deshalb passt es dort so gut.
