How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Stößt sich die Koralle mit einer petrol- oder grünen Wand?

Nein, solange die Wand eher dunkel ist. Das Poster bringt ohnehin viel tiefes Petrol mit, daher wirkt eine petrol- oder dunkelgrüne Wand wie eine Fortsetzung des Grundtons und die Korallenstreifen kommen sogar stärker zur Geltung. Eine helle Mint- oder Türkiswand solltest du vermeiden, weil sie mit dem helleren Petrol in den Hügeln konkurriert und das Bild flach wirken lässt.

Ist das Muster für einen kleinen Flur zu busy?

Es kommt darauf an, was sonst noch da ist. In einem schmalen Flur mit schlichten gestrichenen Wänden und einem ruhigen Läufer funktioniert ein einziges, hohes Statementstück, weil es das einzige Muster im Blickfeld ist. Problematisch wird es, wenn Tapete, ein gemusterter Fliesenboden oder eine Reihe gerahmter Fotos dazukommen. Halte die Flächen drumherum schlicht, dann wirken die Hügel wie ein einziger warmer Block statt wie Unruhe.

Passt es zu einem Raum mit grauen Wänden?

Mittel- bis dunkelgrau passt gut. Die Korallen- und Senftöne wärmen einen kühlen Grauraum deutlich auf, und das dunkle Petrol im Poster liegt nah genug an Anthrazit, um verwandt zu wirken. Sehr helles Grau ist schwieriger, weil das Creme in den Hügeln dann an Kontur verliert und das Bild aus der Entfernung etwas ausgewaschen wirkt. An hellgrauen Wänden hängst du es am besten dort auf, wo Lampen- oder Fensterlicht darauf fällt.
