    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Wird das Blau im Raum so kräftig wie auf dem Bildschirm?

    Das tiefe Blau ist nur in den Vögeln vorhanden, es wirkt also als Akzent und nicht als Farbfläche. Der Großteil des Bildes ist warmes Creme und sanftes Olivgrau. In einem neutralen Raum hebt das Blau das Bild und wirkt reich; unter kühlem künstlichem Licht kann es etwas dunkler erscheinen, daher passen wärmere Lampen besser.

    Funktioniert es auf einer farbigen Wand oder braucht es Weiß?

    Es funktioniert auf sanften Grüntönen, Salbei, warmem Grau und kalkigem Off-White. Diese Farben greifen die Olivtöne im Hintergrund auf. Starkes Terrakotta, Senf oder leuchtendes Blau konkurrieren damit. Ist deine Wand dunkel, wähle eine größere Größe, damit der blasse Cremehintergrund noch gut zur Geltung kommt.

    Welche Größe passt zu einer quadratischen Wand über einer Kommode?

    Orientiere dich daran, dass das Kunstwerk etwa zwei Drittel der Breite des darunter stehenden Möbels haben sollte. Mittelgroß passt zu einer Standard-Kommode oder einem Konsolentisch; groß eignet sich über einem breiten Sofa oder Bett. Zu klein verliert die feinen Federzeichnungen und die herabhängenden Blüten, das sind die Details, die das Werk ausmachen.
