    Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Passt der helle Hintergrund zu meinen weißen Wänden oder wirkt er wie ein anderes Weiß?
    Der Untergrund ist ein weiches Off-White mit einem Hauch Grau, daher wirkt er auf einer Kreideweiß- oder Warmweiß-Wand fast wie die Wand selbst und die schwarze Form scheint zu schweben. Auf einer strahlend weißen Wand sieht er etwas wärmer aus. Auch helle Grau- und Steinwände passen gut. Vermeide Magnolia oder Creme, denn dadurch wirkt der Untergrund im Vergleich kühler.

    Wie hoch muss es sein, damit es an einer Treppenwand funktioniert?
    Rechne mit mindestens 80 cm Höhe. Das Design ist doppelt so hoch wie breit, und die Stufen unten sind das Detail, das man erst im zweiten Blick wahrnimmt, also brauchen sie genug Größe, um vom Flur unten aus zu wirken. An einer Treppenwand über die ganze Höhe sieht ein Meter oder mehr passend aus. Häng es mit der Unterkante etwas über Geländerhöhe und lass den Rest der Wand frei.

    Muss es neben echten Treppen hängen?
    Nein. Neben einer Treppe spiegeln sich die beiden Rhythmen schön, aber die Form funktioniert auf jeder glatten Wand, die mehr Höhe als Breite hat. Der Pfeiler zwischen zwei Fenstern, eine schmale Eingangswand oder das Ende eines Flurs passen ebenfalls. Wichtig ist freie Wand auf beiden Seiten, damit die Kurve Raum zum Schwingen hat.
