    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Wird das blasse Türkis in einem nach Norden ausgerichteten Schlafzimmer kalt wirken?
    Es bleibt frisch statt kühl, solange die Wand darum warm ist. An einer warmweißen oder rosigen Putzwand nimmt der rosafarbene Sand im Bild den Wandton auf und das Türkis wirkt wie Meer, nicht grau. Auf einer kühlen grauen oder rein weißen Wand kann es flach wirken, also wärme die Wand auf oder kombiniere es mit ockerfarbenem Leinen unter dem Bild.

    Wie groß sollte ich über einem Kingsize-Bett gehen?
    Für ein 180-cm-Bett hält ein Quadrat zwischen 90 und 100 cm die Wand gut aus, ohne ein Paar zu brauchen. Unter 70 cm werden die Surfer zu Punkten und das Format verliert seinen Größeneffekt. Lass eine Handbreit zwischen Oberkante des Kopfteils und Unterkante des Bildes und halte die Nachttischlampen niedrig, damit nichts drängt.

    Kann man die Surfer aus dem Raum heraus erkennen?
    Ab 70 cm Breite, ja. Vom Türrahmen aus siehst du zuerst die weiße Linie der Brandung und erst näher dran die kleinen dunklen Figuren, genau das ist der Reiz der Luftperspektive. Im Badezimmer, wo du näher sitzt, funktioniert ein Quadrat von 50 bis 60 cm, weil der Betrachtungsabstand auf ein bis zwei Meter schrumpft.
