    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Macht das dunkle Grün mein Wohnzimmer im Winter düster?
    Das Gegenteil, in einem beleuchteten Raum. Das dunkle Tannengrün sorgt erst dafür, dass die cremefarbenen Kerzen und das Silber als Licht wirken, also leuchtet das Bild unter einer Lampe oder neben einem Kamin eher, als dass es absinkt. Schwer wirkt es nur an einer hellgrauen Wand bei flachem Tageslicht ohne warmes Licht in der Nähe. Gib ihm eine Lampe und eine warme Wand, dann verhält sich das Grün ganz unkompliziert.

    Ist das nur für Weihnachten oder kann es länger hängen bleiben?
    Die meisten hängen es ab Ende November auf und lassen es bis Ende Januar hängen. Ohne Lametta oder Weihnachtsmann wirkt das Bild nach dem Abbau der Deko wie ein winterliches Stillleben, und die Taube hält es ruhig statt zu festlich. Im Februar beginnt das Grün dann so auszusehen, als würde es auf den Frühling warten, und das ist der natürliche Zeitpunkt zum Austauschen.

    Welche Größe passt über einen Kamin?
    Ziel ist ungefähr die Hälfte bis zwei Drittel der Breite des Kaminsimses. Bei einem Standardkamin von 120 cm ist das ein Quadrat von 60 oder 70 cm, aufgehängt mit der Unterkante eine Handbreit oder zwei über dem Sims, damit darunter noch ein Girlande Platz hat. Unter 50 cm geht die Taube zwischen den Deko-Elementen im Raum schnell unter.
