    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Wird Grau und Grün in meinem Schlafzimmer kühl wirken?
    Das hängt vom Licht ab. In einem nach Süden oder Westen ausgerichteten Raum wird das Schiefergrau weicher und das Grün liest sich eher als Hügellandschaft denn als Schatten. In einem nach Norden ausgerichteten Raum bleibt es kühl, also kombiniere es mit warmem Holz darunter, Eiche oder Nussbaum, und Off-White statt reinweißem Bettzeug. Eine Wolldecke in Hafer oder Camel auf dem Bett bringt die Temperatur wieder nach oben, ohne mit dem Bild zu konkurrieren.

    Wie breit sollte es über einem Super-Kingsize-Bett sein?
    Ein Super-Kingsize-Bett ist etwa 180 cm breit, also sollte das Bild ungefähr zwei Drittel bis zur vollen Breite abdecken, also rund 120 bis 150 cm. Unter 100 cm bleibt zu viel leere Wand an den Seiten und das Tal verliert an Tiefe. Hänge die Unterkante etwa 20 cm über dem Kopfteil auf, damit beides vom Türrahmen aus wie ein Block wirkt.

    Schränkt das Wort unten ein, wo ich es aufhängen kann?
    Nur ein wenig. Die Beschriftung ist klein und sitzt weit unten, sodass sie aus dem Schlafzimmer oder Wohnzimmer eher als Teil der Landschaft denn als Slogan wirkt. Das heißt aber auch, dass das Stück am besten für sich allein funktioniert, ohne gerahmte Zitate oder Typografie-Poster in der Nähe. Über einem Esstisch hält es den Raum ruhig, und das Wort lässt sich nach einer Weile leicht ausblenden.
