    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    An einer hellweißen Wand wirkt das Creme wie eine warme Fläche, fast wie ein aufgehängtes Blatt altes Papier, und der Rand ist klar sichtbar. An gebrochen weißen, magnoliafarbenen oder steinfarbenen Wänden verschwindet der Grund fast und nur die dunkle Zeichnung tritt hervor. Beides funktioniert. Wenn deine Wände ein kühles Grauweiß haben, hänge es dorthin, wo Tageslicht die Wand wärmer wirken lässt, statt neben ein Nordfenster.

    Welche Größe sollte ich über einem Sideboard wählen?
    Wähle ungefähr die halbe bis zwei Drittel Breite des Sideboards. Bei einem 120-cm-Sideboard sind das etwa 60 bis 70 cm im Quadrat, aufgehängt mit der Unterkante etwa 20 cm über der Oberfläche. Kleiner und die Früchte sind aus dem Türrahmen nicht mehr gut lesbar. Viel größer und die Bleistiftstruktur, die das Werk ausmacht, geht bei Esszimmersicht verloren.

    Ist es für eine kleine Küche zu dunkel?
    Die dunkle Fläche ist ein kompakter Block im oberen Bereich mit Creme darum herum, also bringt es nur eine schattige Form statt eine schwere Wand. In einer kleinen Küche häng es am besten in mittlerer Größe an die Wand, auf die du von der Tür aus blickst, weg vom Herd. Helle Schränke und schlichte weiße Fliesen daneben halten den Raum offen.
