    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Verschwinden die weichen Farben an einer weißen Wand?
    An einer hellweißen Wand kann der Nebel ausgewaschen wirken, besonders bei starkem Tageslicht. Auf Off-White, Taubengrau oder einem kreidigen Grün hält er sich besser, dort wirkt das Rosa-Grau des Wassers wärmer und die Bäume treten nach vorn. Wenn deine Wände reinweiß sind, häng es größer auf, als du geplant hast, und halte Bettwäsche oder Sofa in einer hellen Farbe, damit nichts daneben laut wirkt.

    Wie breit sollte ich über einem King-Size-Bett gehen?
    Ein King-Size-Kopfteil ist etwa 150cm bis 180cm breit, und dieses Bild sollte ungefähr zwei Drittel davon abdecken. Nimm 120cm Breite oder mehr. Kleiner wirkt das Boot nur wie ein Detail in einer großen Nebelfläche, und die Wand über dem Kopfteil sieht noch halb fertig aus. Lass etwa 20cm zwischen Oberkante des Kopfteils und der Unterkante des Bildes.

    Passt es zu warmen Holzmöbeln?
    Ja, mit Maß. Helle Hölzer wie Esche, gekälkte Eiche oder lackierte Kiefer passen gut zu dem Grau-Grün, und das Rosa im Wasser nimmt ihre Wärme auf. Dunkle Walnuss oder Mahagoni machen den Raum schwerer, als das Bild es will. Wenn deine Möbel dunkel sind, gleiche das mit weißem Leinen oder einem hellen Teppich aus, damit der Nebel etwas Helles zum Anlehnen hat.
