    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Passt die rote Seilbahn zu einer Terrakotta- oder rot gestrichenen Wand, oder wirkt das unruhig?
    Das hängt davon ab, wie viel Rot dort schon ist. An einer Terrakotta-Wand verliert die Kabine ihre Wirkung, weil das Auge sie nicht mehr klar findet. Auf Off-White, Putzrosa oder warmem Grau ist Rot die einzige starke Farbe an der Wand und die ganze Szene wirkt deutlich. Wenn dein Flur rot ist, häng es lieber in einen ruhigeren Raum.

    Wie viel Wandhöhe braucht das Motiv, damit es gut wirkt?
    Mehr, als man denkt. Das Format ist doppelt so hoch wie breit, also kann es in mittlerer Größe schnell wie ein Streifen wirken. Gib ihm mindestens 120 cm freie Höhe, damit Berge oben und Chalet unten genug Raum haben, und setz die Seilbahn selbst möglichst auf Augenhöhe. Treppenabsätze und die Wand neben einem hohen Fenster geben dir das oft ganz von selbst.

    Wirkt eine Schneelandschaft im Sommer nicht zu saisonal?
    Weniger, als du denkst. Die Palette ist vor allem Creme und warmes Braun, daher liest es sich im Juli eher als sanfte Berglandschaft denn als Winterszene, und der Nebel übernimmt den größten Teil der Wirkung. Räume, die das ganze Jahr neutral bleiben, vor allem Flure und Schlafzimmer, tragen es ohne jeden saisonalen Wechsel.
