    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Sind die feinen Linien in kleinerer Größe noch gut erkennbar?
    Ja, aber die Wirkung verändert sich. In kleineren Größen verschmilzt die Schraffur zu einer sanften Terrakotta-Textur statt zu einzelnen Linien, was trotzdem gut in einem Flur oder neben dem Bett funktioniert. Wenn du die einzelnen Schleifen und Striche aus ein, zwei Schritten Entfernung sehen möchtest, wähle besser eine mittlere Größe oder größer an einer Wand von mindestens 70 cm.

    Passt es über ein Sofa, oder ist ein Quadrat dafür zu klein?
    Ein Quadrat passt über ein Sofa, solange du es größer wählst. Orientiere dich an einer Breite von ungefähr zwei Dritteln des Sofas, hänge es mittig und etwa 25 cm über den Rückenkissen auf. Wenn dein Sofa sehr breit ist, hänge lieber zwei passende Quadrate nebeneinander statt nur eines — das Muster läuft über ein Paar gerne weiter.

    Ist das Terrakotta in echt eher kräftig oder dezent?
    Dezent. Die Linien sind ein weiches, leicht gedämpftes Terrakotta auf warmem Creme, sodass es aus der Entfernung eher als warme strukturierte Neutralfarbe wirkt als als Orange-Impuls. Aus der Nähe siehst du die Farbe klar. Wenn du ein kräftigeres Orange-Statement willst, ist dieses hier sanfter, als du vielleicht erwartest.

    Kann ich es in einem Raum aufhängen, der schon gemusterte Kissen oder Teppiche hat?
    Ja, wenn die Muster in der Größe unterschiedlich sind. Das hier hat feine, dichte Linien und passt daher gut über grob gewebte Teppiche und großformatige Prints. Problematisch wird es, wenn der Raum schon ein anderes feines Streifen- oder Linienmuster hat, weil beides dann konkurriert. Gib ihm eine schlichte Wand und darunter eine ruhige Fläche.
