About This Art

Some cityscape prints match a room. This one resets its pecking order. The pastel townhouses, terracotta roofs and tiny balcony flowers do the talking, and quieter pieces around them step back.

Hang it and the wall feels less flat. The cream, pale blue and warm peach pull a neutral room into something gentler and more lived-in, without going twee.

It works best in hallways, bedrooms, small kitchens and the top of a staircase, where you walk past it slowly and notice a new detail each time.

Pair it with pale oak, painted timber, linen, soft ceramics and the odd sprig of greenery. Brushed brass fittings sit well alongside.

Don't stack it next to a busy floral or a heavy oil landscape — both will fight it. Give it a calm wall and let it lead. Printed on premium fine-art paper.

Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Does this read as Prague specifically, or just a generic European street?

It reads as Prague's old town to anyone familiar — the stepped lanes, terracotta roofs and tall narrow townhouses are the giveaway — but it isn't labelled, so it also works simply as a soft European cityscape if you've never been.

Is the palette warm or cool overall?

It's mixed but leans warm. Cream and warm peach dominate the buildings and steps, with pale blue-grey on one central townhouse and quiet slate on the rooftops. On a warm off-white wall it feels gentle; on a cool grey wall the blues come forward.

Will the detail still read at a smaller size?

Yes, but you'll lose the balcony flowers and lantern detail below A3. If you want people to notice the small touches up close — the figure on the steps, the window boxes — go medium or larger and hang it where you walk past slowly.
