Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

The 'Ausstellung 1919' wording is part of the design and stays as printed. It sits in clean black type at the foot of the print and reads as graphic detail rather than a sentence to translate — most people see it as part of the geometry.

It can if the surrounding wall is dark or cluttered. On a pale plaster or cream wall, with a bit of breathing room around it, the black form actually makes a small space feel sharper and more intentional rather than crowded.

Both work, but the vertical stacked shape really earns its keep above a desk or console where the eye is drawn upwards. In a hallway, hang it slightly above eye-line so the geometry has somewhere to go.
