Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

The cat is centred and painted in solid near-black, so it holds the eye even with all the green around it. The plants frame rather than crowd it. From a couple of metres away the cat is clearly the subject; the pots and leaves become supporting pattern.

The greens are mostly soft sage rather than forest dark, and the cream pot and patterned floor break things up. In a small room it actually works in your favour — it gives the wall something to do without adding heavy dark blocks. Pair with cream or warm white walls.

The red and blue appear as small dotted accents on the pots and floor, not as large colour blocks. They read as warm highlights against the green rather than competing primaries, so they sit happily alongside most warm or earthy palettes.
