Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

The red here is more brick than pillarbox, sitting close to dusty pink and warm brown. It reads as part of the same family on plaster pink, terracotta or warm off-white walls. It will clash on cool greys and bright corals — keep the wall warm-toned and it settles in.

It holds a wall on its own. The figure is centred, the checkerboard cape gives it weight, and the mustard legs anchor the lower half. If you do pair it, keep companions quieter — small botanicals or a calm abstract rather than another bold portrait.

Stylised. The features are simplified — small mouth, almond eyes, blush cheeks — painted in a hand-drawn, naive style. There's no fine realism here, so don't expect studio-portrait detail. It's closer to modern folk illustration than classical portraiture.
