Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It depends on the wall around it. The piece itself is detailed, but it reads as one warm, glowing rectangle from a few steps back. Give it a calm wall and keep nearby cushions and curtains plain, and it'll feel rich rather than busy — even in a snug room.

It reads as a warm gold in evening lamplight and a softer mustard-yellow in daylight. There's no metallic finish — the glow comes from the colour itself and the small dots layered together. Warm bulbs (2700K) bring out the gold most.

It's broadly symmetrical — the brightest gold sits in the centre, with darker trunks framing it on both sides. That makes it forgiving to hang: it works centred above a sofa or console without looking lopsided, and it doesn't fight a room that already has its own focal point.
