Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Both. The lower half reads clearly as a dark boat sitting on water, with a reflection underneath. The upper half is more abstract — overlapping warm blocks rather than sky, sails or shoreline. From across the room it reads as a boat; up close it feels like a quiet abstract composition.

No. The black sits inside a lot of warm cream and sandy brown, so it grounds the composition rather than dominating it. In a small room it actually helps — it gives the eye one clear place to land instead of a wall of pale neutrals.

It works above a sofa at medium size, especially if the sofa is low and long. The vertical shape draws the eye up and balances a horizontal piece of furniture. If your sofa is short, hang it slightly off-centre or pair it with a smaller companion print.
