It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Yes, but go larger than you think. The palette is intentionally muted, so a small print on a pale wall risks fading into the background. At large or statement size on an off-white wall, the willows and the figure read clearly from across the room, and the picture sits as an anchor rather than a whisper.

From close up the brushwork is loose and impressionistic, so she reads more as a suggestion of a person than a sharp portrait. From a normal viewing distance she's easy to spot once you know to look.

It works in both. The palette is soft and earthy enough to sit well in organic modern and transitional rooms with pale oak, linen and plaster. It also lands naturally in English country and traditional rooms. It struggles most in sharp, high-gloss modern spaces with strong primary colours.
