It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It can. The background is a clean, slightly cool soft pink. On a warm cream or yellow-cream wall it can read a bit muddy. On chalky off-white, pale grey, or a darker painted wall it sits much better and the cat and waistcoat get to do the work.

It depends on the room. In a kitchen with personality, a painted hallway or a small home office, it works as a single talking point because the painting itself is dead serious. In a formal living room or a quiet bedroom it can feel a bit much — pair it with one calm material like linen or oak to ground it.

It reads as a ginger and white tabby with classic tabby markings on the forehead and ears. It isn't drawn as a specific named breed, so it works as a general nod to ginger cats rather than a portrait of one in particular.
