Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It sits somewhere between the two on purpose. From across the room, most people read a seated figure — head, torso, legs folded. Up close, it relaxes back into a set of cream cut-out shapes against a dark ground. That ambiguity is the point, and it's part of why the piece stays interesting over time.

Less than you'd think. The cream shapes are large and take up a lot of the surface, so the overall impression is light and graphic rather than dense. In a small room, hang it on the lightest wall you have and keep the surrounding shelves and side tables fairly clear, so the piece has space to breathe.

It's a portrait-shaped piece, so it shines on taller walls — above a slim console in a hallway, opposite a bed, or on a narrow stretch of wall between a window and a doorway. Above a sofa works too, as long as the sofa is low and you give the print enough vertical space above the cushions.
