Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It reads warm off-white — closer to soft oat than grey. The original 1910 paper has aged into a gentle cream tone, and the print holds that. Against a cool grey wall it can read slightly muddy, so it sits best on warm neutrals: plaster, oat, soft cream or natural linen-painted walls.

It's on the playful side. Japanese fox-spirit folklore (kitsune) covers both mischief and menace, but Koson's fox is dancing with a lotus leaf on its head — clearly the comic version. The piece reads as gently witty rather than mysterious or unsettling, which is why it works in studies and bedrooms.

Possibly. The composition has a lot of empty paper around the figure, so it's designed to be looked at fairly close — above a console, desk or chest of drawers, not floating above a three-seater sofa. If you want it in a living room, pair it with one or two companion Koson prints to hold the wall together.
