About This Art

A bathroom this pared back can take one serious soft pink. The frog ballerina does the rest — a tightrope, a tutu, and a handful of daggers mid-air, all played completely straight.

Hang it where people stand still for a minute and notice things. The colours are soft and old-fashioned, so it warms up tiled walls without fighting them. The humour does the heavy lifting.

Works best as a soloist over a basin, beside a mirror, or on the narrow wall of a downstairs loo. Eye-level, not too high.

Pair with painted wood, brass taps, a small woven basket, and the kind of soap dish your nan would approve of. Old hand-towels in faded pink finish the trick.

Don't drown it in clinical white minimalism — it needs a bit of warmth around it to land properly. Stretched over a wooden frame, ready to hang.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Are the daggers going to feel weird in a child's room?

They read more circus than violent — small, gold-handled, and clearly mid-juggle. The frog is calm, the tutu is pink, the whole thing plays like a vaudeville act. For most kids it lands as funny rather than scary, but if your child is particularly squeamish, a hallway or bathroom is the safer call.

Will the soft pinks look washed-out next to white bathroom tiles?

They can if the tiles are very cool or bright white. The print's pinks are warm and dusty, so it sits best against painted walls, panelling, or warmer off-whites. If you've got cool white tiles, a soft-pink or oak frame helps bridge the two so the print doesn't feel stranded.

Is the composition balanced enough to hang on its own?

Yes. The frog sits dead centre, the tightrope grounds the bottom edge, and the juggled objects form a loose halo at the top. It's a complete little scene and doesn't need a partner, though it pairs nicely with another small vintage animal print if you want a duo.
