Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

The blue is a single small wash against mostly off-white, so it acts more as an accent than a colour statement. In a warm room with oak, terracotta or cream, it offers a quiet contrast rather than fighting the scheme. If your room leans strongly red or gold, pair it with one cool textile, like a soft grey cushion, to give the blue something to talk to.

Yes at a medium size. The black contour line is fine but continuous, and the profile is clear from two to three metres away. The soft blue wash through the hair adds a second visual anchor so the piece doesn't disappear on a pale wall. For larger rooms or longer sightlines, size up rather than choosing a busier piece.

A medium portrait sits well above a low or upholstered headboard because the vertical profile draws the eye up. Centre it slightly off the bed's midline, or hang it about 15 to 20 cm above the headboard. Leave clear wall on either side — empty space is part of the composition with a minimal piece like this.
