Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It can. The ginger orange is small but bright, and it sits against deep green water, so it reads as a warm piece overall. In a cool grey or blue room it will feel like a deliberate warm accent — fine if you want that, less ideal if you want everything to blend. It looks most settled against off-white, soft green, mustard or warm earth tones.

Yes. The cat is sleepy and gentle rather than cartoonish, and the deep green and warm orange feel calm rather than over-stimulating. It works well above a cot, a small bed or a reading chair, and it has enough quiet character to grow with the child into older years.

Reach for the medium or large size. A medium sits nicely above a small double or as part of a calm wall, while a large gives more presence over a standard or king bed. Aim for the artwork to span roughly two-thirds the width of the headboard, hung so the cat's face is near eye-level when you're sitting up.
