About This Art

The oak frame matters first; it tells the nursery you're serious. The greens and the off-white background are clean and confident, so the frame needs to match that energy without competing. Hung up, the room loosens. The wall feels lighter, the corner near the cot or reading chair becomes the bit you actually look at. There's a warmth to it that softens a room full of plastic toys and laundry. It works well on a tall, narrow wall — beside a wardrobe, above a low changing table, or in a hallway that needs something cheerful at child eye-level. Pair it with pale wood, linen curtains, a real houseplant and one woven basket. Skip busy patterned wallpaper and loud primary-colour accents nearby — the print already does the playful work. Printed on premium fine-art paper for a soft, matte finish.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the green strong enough to hold a wall on its own?

Yes. The background is off-white, but the banana leaves take up most of the upper half of the print in three clear shades of green. On a pale wall it reads as a confident shot of colour rather than a quiet accent, which is why it works as a solo piece on a tall, narrow wall.

Will my child actually be able to see the cat?

If you hang it lower than you'd hang adult art — around 110–130cm from the floor — the cat sits comfortably in a small child's eye-line. The composition is bottom-weighted, so even if it's hung at adult eye-level, the cat lands roughly at standing toddler height.

Does it only work in a nursery, or will it suit a living room?

It happily leaves the nursery. The style is modern and clean enough for a hallway, a sunny living-room corner or a home office with houseplants. It reads as a botanical with a sense of humour, rather than a baby print, so it doesn't have to be retired when the child grows up.
