About This Art

On a low winter afternoon, the rust orange looks almost illegally fresh. Two foxes lean into each other in dotty jumpers, and the whole thing reads as warm, friendly and quietly confident. Hung up, it changes the temperature of a room. A cream wall stops feeling blank, and a navy or rust accent somewhere else in the room suddenly has a friend. It sits beautifully above a low chest of drawers in a nursery, on a kids' room wall over a small bed, or at the end of a hallway where you want one piece of warmth to land. Pair it with oak, pale pine, cream linen and a wool rug in soft brown or oat. Skip the busy patterned wallpaper next to it — the dotty jumpers are doing that job already. Printed on premium fine-art paper.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the print warm enough for a cream nursery wall?

Yes. The cream background blends straight into off-white and oat walls, and the rust orange brings just enough warmth to stop the wall feeling cold. Rather than fighting a soft scheme it slots into it, which is why it works so well in nurseries and kids' rooms painted in chalky neutrals.

Will the navy and rust feel too busy for a small room?

No. The colours are bold but the background is open and quiet, so the picture has plenty of breathing room. In a small nursery or kids' room it reads as one focused image rather than a busy pattern, which keeps the wall feeling calm even when the colours are strong.

Does it work outside a kids' room?

It does. The folk-art style and grown-up palette of rust, navy and cream means it sits happily in a hallway, study or relaxed living room. Treat it as a piece of modern illustration rather than strictly nursery art and it earns its place anywhere with warm woods and soft neutrals.
