About This Art

Open the curtains at late afternoon; the deep blue will handle the drama. The wall behind the table softens, the daffodils glow yellow, and the slice of pizza on the blue and white plate suddenly looks like the best idea you've had all week. Hang it where people gather — above a sideboard in the dining room, on the kitchen wall behind the toaster, or in a breakfast nook with morning light. Pair with pale wood, rattan and a bowl of lemons; let blue and white ceramics echo the plate. Skip busy gallery walls and competing florals — this piece wants a clear stretch of wall and good food nearby. Printed on premium fine-art paper for rich, painterly colour.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will this work on a blue or dark painted wall?

Yes — the deep blue background actually helps the print sit calmly on a dark or painted wall, while the yellow daffodils and terracotta vase pop forward. A slim black frame keeps the edges crisp. If your wall is very dark, hang it slightly lower over furniture and add a nearby lamp so the colour reads in the evening.

Does it suit a small kitchen?

It does, as long as it has one clear stretch of wall to itself — above a counter, behind a breakfast table, or next to open shelving. Go for the medium size rather than statement; you want it to anchor the corner without crowding the worktop. Keep the surface below fairly simple so the print stays the focal point.

What colours in the room will pull it together?

Echo the print's own palette: blue and white ceramics on a shelf or table, a terracotta pot of herbs, a bowl of lemons, or a linen runner in warm white. A touch of pale oak or rattan softens the deep blue, and brass tableware picks up the warm tones in the vase.
