It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It depends what you already have. The piece sits happily with warm pinks, deep greens, dusty reds, terracotta and warm wood. It struggles next to cool greys, chrome and crisp white minimalism. If your room already leans warm and characterful, it tends to settle in rather than fight.

It works year-round. The tree and garland read as small details inside a warm, characterful living room — the dominant story is the white cat, green velvet sofa and pink walls. Most rooms read it as cosy and painterly rather than strictly festive, so you can leave it up after January.

Aim for a large portrait size so the painterly detail has room to breathe. A good rule above a sofa is to fill roughly two-thirds of the sofa width. For a standard three-seater that usually means a large print rather than a medium one — too small and the busy composition gets lost.
