Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

No — they actually work in its favour. The reds in this plate are warm and slightly muted, so they sit happily against a deep green wall rather than fighting it. If your green leans cool or blue-toned, try a black frame to give the red a sharper edge.

The medium portrait size is the sweet spot for catching the fine fronds and tiny spore capsules from a metre or two away. If you go smaller, hang it where people pass close — beside a desk or in a narrow hallway — so the detail still rewards a closer look.
