Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

The gold here is pigment, not metallic foil — closer to ochre and warm mustard with darker amber shadows. On matte fine-art paper it reads rich and painterly under warm light, especially lamplight, but it won't physically shimmer the way leaf does. If you specifically want metallic sheen, this isn't that piece.

The composition is dense at the edges but opens into a sunlit clearing dead-centre, so the eye has somewhere to land. Above a headboard it actually reads calmer than expected — the vertical trunks echo the verticality of the bed, and the centre clearing sits roughly at the pillow line. Keep bedding and the surrounding wall quiet and it settles.

Saturated teal, emerald, or deep peacock walls will swallow the indigo foliage and flatten the gold. It looks best against chalky off-whites, soft putty, warm plaster pink, or a deep warm charcoal that lets the gold step forward. Cool grey-blue walls are workable but mute the warmth.
