Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It can if the room is also dark. In smaller rooms, balance it with a warm off-white or soft plaster wall behind, and keep nearby surfaces light — pale oak, cream upholstery, a linen lampshade. The gold and mustard dots then lift it rather than letting the near-black weigh things down.

It reads as warm mustard and burnt orange in daylight, and edges towards gold under warm lamplight in the evening. There's no metallic foil — the gilded feel comes from the painted yellow dots against the very dark trunks, which is the same trick Klimt used in his forest series.

Both work, but it earns its keep most in a hallway or between two windows where its tall, vertical shape has somewhere to go. Above a sofa, choose the large or statement size so the trunks don't feel cropped, and leave clear wall either side.
