Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

They read warm and clear rather than fluorescent. The reds sit against a soft off-white background, so they feel punchy but not loud — closer to a ripe tomato than a glossy poster red. In a room with morning light they warm up further; under cooler evening light they settle a little.

No — the composition is built around generous empty space, so scaling up actually helps. The off-white background gives the birds room to breathe, and the red berry clusters lead your eye across the print. If anything, going one size up from your gut feeling tends to look more considered, not less.

It holds a wall on its own quite happily, especially above a console or slim chest in a hallway or bedroom. If you do want to pair it, choose another quiet Japanese woodblock — a single bird, a branch study — rather than a second busy piece. Two calm prints read better than one calm and one loud.
