About This Art

Hang this where the side-light hits and the deep green sharpens. It's a watercolour travel poster of the Kew Gardens glasshouse, painted in deep greens, soft yellow and warm cream, with a tube-style caption underneath. The room reads as brighter and more relaxed once it's up. Walls that felt a bit flat suddenly have somewhere to look. Best in a hallway, sunlit kitchen, garden room or any spot where you already lean into plants and pale timber. Pair it with rattan, oak, linen and a few terracotta pots. Skip stacking it with other busy botanicals or loud travel posters — one show-off per wall is plenty. The canvas weave softens the watercolour edges and gives the greenery a slightly painterly finish.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Is the London Underground caption part of the print, or can it be removed?

The caption is part of the artwork itself — 'Kew Gardens, Nearest Underground Station, District Line, Kew Gardens Station, TW9 3AB'. It's painted into the lower third and gives the piece its travel-poster character, so it can't be cropped out without losing the bottom of the composition.

Will the deep greens look too heavy in a small hallway?

Not usually. The top two-thirds are dappled light and pale yellow-greens, with the darkest greens sitting at the edges, so the eye is pulled into the bright doorway in the middle. In a narrow hallway it tends to make the wall feel taller rather than closed-in.

Does it work on its own, or does it need other prints around it?

It holds a wall on its own as a single statement, which is how most people hang it. If you'd rather build a set, pair it with one or two quieter London or botanical prints in similar warm tones — avoid stacking it next to another loud travel poster.
