About This Art

From the doorway, the vertical reads clean. Up close, not polite. The tiger stares straight back, and the surrounding florals turn from background pattern into something denser and more alive.

It warms a room in a way pale art can't. Walls feel less flat, sofas look more settled, and a quiet corner suddenly has a focal point.

Works above a sofa, a sideboard, or at the end of a hallway. Best on a darker or warmer wall — chalky off-white, deep green, clay, or a soft brown.

Pairs well with oak or walnut, velvet, aged leather, brass fittings and stoneware. Linen curtains keep the room from feeling heavy.

Don't crowd it with other busy florals or competing animal prints — this one needs room to do its job. Finished in real wood and acrylic glazing for a clean gallery look.

Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the dark background look heavy in a small room?

It can do, but it tends to make small rooms feel cocooning rather than cramped, especially in hallways or studies. On a darker painted wall it almost disappears at the edges and lets the tiger and florals carry the room. On a pale wall the contrast is sharper and the print reads more like a gallery poster.

Is the tiger's stare too intense for a living room?

It's direct, which is the point. If you spend long evenings on the sofa directly opposite the wall, hang it slightly off-axis or above a sideboard rather than facing your seat. In a hallway or study it reads as a confident focal point rather than constant eye contact.

Does the exhibition-poster typography date the print?

The text is part of the design — it sits as a clean border around the image and gives the piece a museum-poster feel. It reads as deliberate gallery styling rather than a real event listing, so it doesn't look out of date and pairs well with both traditional and modern interiors.
