Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

The sea is genuinely the loudest part of the picture, and it stays that way on paper and canvas. If your room is already heavy on blue or teal, the print will fight it. On warm white, plaster-pink or chalky off-white walls, the turquoise sings without overwhelming the room.

The cat sits in the lower right and takes up roughly a fifth of the height. On a large size it reads as a clear subject from across the room; on a small size it becomes more of a quiet detail and the sea does most of the work. We'd lean larger if you want the cat to anchor the piece.

It travels better than you'd expect. The brushwork is loose and the colours are confident rather than literal-postcard, so it works in organic-modern and Mediterranean-leaning rooms anywhere, not just seaside houses. Pair it with terracotta, linen and oak and it settles in fine.
