It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It probably will. The background is already a dense Morris-style garden pattern, so it's happiest against a plain painted wall — sage, plaster pink, off-white or a warm heritage neutral. If your wallpaper is busy, hang this on the opposite wall instead, where it can breathe.

Pale cream wings with delicate ink linework, small circular eye markings and tiny gold-brown details near the wing tips. The body is warm gold-brown with soft segmentation. It's stylised rather than scientifically accurate, more illustration than specimen plate.

It sits between the two — a dusty sage with an olive undertone, leaning slightly cool but warm enough to work with oak and brass. It pairs well with heritage greens like sage and card room green, and looks softer in daylight than under warm bulbs.
